The “Northern Seal” – owned by Norcon Marine of Glovertown have provided the service between Bay L’Argent, Pool’s Cove for the community of Rencontre East for nearly over a decade to date for the Dept. of Transportation and Works, Marine Division.
The relationship between the two parties have been very cordial and the vessel has often been referred to us as being the neatest kept vessel of the south coast.
The crews have shown themselves to be friendly and neat in appearance in their uniform.
With constant changes in regulations, it is sometimes a challenge to keep up the standards expected by travellers but the company rises to these requirements and thus allows a community which takes pleasure in it’s isolation, to continue to thrive.
